Class Description:
Experience the musical works of famous composers, examine the basic elements of music, and explore the instruments of the orchestra. Students will meet some of history’s greatest musical masters through listening, analyzing, comparing, and discussing musical selections. Through engaging activities, students will gain understanding of beat, meter, tempo, dynamics, articulation, and style.
No previous musical experience necessary.
