Class Description:

Welcome to the Montessori Mathematics class designed specifically for children in Kindergarten through Third Grade. This innovative program aims to instill a love for mathematics while fostering deep conceptual understanding through hands-on exploration, collaborative activities, and individualized learning experiences.

Class Activities:* Manipulative-based Learning: Students will use a variety of manipulatives such as counting beads, number rods, and geometric shapes to explore mathematical concepts concretely.* Exploratory Stations: Rotating stations will offer different mathematical challenges and activities, allowing students to explore various concepts at their own pace.* Mathematical Games: Fun and interactive games will reinforce mathematical concepts while promoting teamwork and strategic thinking.* Real-World Applications: Connecting mathematical concepts to real-life situations will help students understand the relevance and importance of mathematics in their daily lives.* Individualized Learning: Recognizing that every child learns differently, the class will provide opportunities for students to pursue their interests and learn at their own pace, with guidance from the teacher.
