Class Description:

Leadership training is a billion dollar industry in the U.S. because effective leadership is an indicator for success. As Believers, we know our definition of “success” looks different than the world’s definition. We want success for our children starting right now with friendships, school, and sports. We want to see them succeed as young adults in jobs, college, marriage, parenting, and in their churches and communities. We want to see them leading others to Jesus. Leadership training is clearly valuable. This class will be a fun and interactive training ground for leadership development using Biblical standards of leadership. We will dive into leadership theories, group dynamics, team building strategies, communication, goal setting, conflict resolution, and interview skills all through a Biblical Worldview. By the end of the year students will leave this class with a clear understanding of what leadership is, how to lead in different situations, recognize their own strengths and weaknesses, and strategies for Christlike leadership in a broken world.

A high level of maturity and participation in group activities will be expected from all students in this class.
